RPL it Australia helps experienced workers organise that experience into evidence, understand how licensing fits around the qualification, and move forward with clear advice. South Australia has a simpler regulator picture than many states. Consumer and Business Services handles trades, security and real estate licensing, while the DHS Screening Unit manages working-with-children and NDIS-related checks. Where a licence depends on holding a recognised qualification, RPL can help experienced workers meet that qualification requirement before they apply through CBS or the relevant screening body. RPL it does not issue licences or perform the formal assessment. The delivering RTO assesses evidence, and the regulator decides the licence outcome.

Campus visits, state rules, timing and licences.
Got more questions?Yes. RPL is done remotely. You don’t need to visit a campus in South Australia or anywhere else. Evidence is submitted online, and the delivering RTO assesses your portfolio. Some trade licences may need a practical demonstration, which can usually be arranged at a workplace near you.
Yes. Qualifications are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework and are the same wherever you live. Licensing is different: it’s set by each state, and South Australia rules can add requirements beyond the qualification.

It depends on a few things. What you influence: how quickly you gather and submit your evidence, and how quickly you respond to requests. What RPL it controls: preparing a complete, well-organised portfolio for the RTO and following up for you. What the RTO controls: its assessment workload, scheduling and issuing the qualification.
As an indication, most of our candidates who submit a complete evidence portfolio receive their outcome within 4–6 weeks of submission to the RTO. This is based on past experience, not a guarantee of your timeline.
