About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the role of property services principals who apply knowledge of property agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to establish and control property services functions. This qualification applies to residential or commercial practice in real estate sales, real estate property management, strata management, business broking, stock and station, or auctioneering.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the process of identifying and vetting Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that meet our standards for this specific qualification. By registering your interest, you will be the first to know when the pathway is open.

Is RPL the same as completing a standard course?
No. While a standard course teaches you new skills, RPL is a process of recognition. It allows a qualified assessor to evaluate the expertise you have already gained through years of agency management to determine if you meet the national standard.
Does this qualification cover both real estate and strata management?
Yes, depending on the units selected during the assessment process, this qualification can lead to a general Agency Management outcome or a specialised Strata Management outcome.
Will I need to provide evidence of trust account management?
Yes. As trust account oversight is a core function of an agency principal, you will likely need to demonstrate your experience in establishing and monitoring these practices within your agency.
