You have spent years supporting clinicians and improving patient outcomes across multidisciplinary health settings. We are currently establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations to offer a streamlined recognition pathway for this qualification.
This qualification reflects the role of allied health assistants who provide therapeutic and program related support to persons, in the health, aged care, disability and any other settings where Allied Health Professionals provide services.
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

This qualification requires a minimum of 120 hours of clinical placement. For recognition candidates, your current or past work experience in a supervised allied health setting may be used to demonstrate this requirement, provided it can be verified by a qualified professional against the unit standards.
