This qualification reflects the role of allied health assistants who provide therapeutic and program related support to persons, in the health, aged care, disability and any other settings where Allied Health Professionals provide services.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the partnership development phase for the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance. While we cannot facilitate immediate enrolments, registering your interest ensures you are the first to know when a suitable RTO partner is secured.

Is RPL the same as studying for the qualification?
Recognition of Prior Learning is an assessment-only pathway. It does not teach you new skills; rather, it allows a qualified assessor to verify that your existing work experience meets the national competency standards.
How do I prove my 120 hours of clinical experience?
Assessors typically look for logbooks, supervisor sign-offs, or verified workplace records that confirm you have completed the required hours of clinical support under the delegation of an allied health professional.
Can I use experience from aged care or disability sectors?
Yes, provided your experience involves supporting allied health programs such as physiotherapy, speech pathology, or occupational therapy under professional supervision.
