About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in public or private organisations that conduct civil infrastructure asset management tasks. It applies to individuals who utilise methods, tools and materials to conduct data collection in support of the management and maintenance of civil infrastructure assets in one or many asset classes. These individuals apply judgement to a broad range of tasks related to asset management. They apply factual, technical and theoretical knowledge to develop technical solutions to non-routine problems. These individuals have limited responsibility for the quantity and quality of the output of others in a team and independent contractors.
