About This Qualification
This qualification is suitable for people working in the maritime industry in the capacity of: Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) OperatorAutonomous Surface Vessels (ASV) OperatorAUV TechnicianASV Technician This qualification reflects the skills and knowledge required to conduct AUV and ASV operations in Near Coastal (NC) waters within the limits of the operators AMSA Certificate of Competency. Please note: RTO to insert on the testamur, the specialist elective unit group selected from the group choice below.

Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) certificate of competency for Coxswain Grade 1 NC as specified in MO505, orAn equivalent or higher level of achievement in the command, navigation, or operation of vessels equal to or greater than 12 metres in length in Near Coastal waters.
