About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the roles of air crew personnel performing normal and emergency airborne duties in support of aviation operations. Air crew duties include applying technical and non-technical aviation skills and knowledge within rotary or fixed wing operational environments. Air crew seeking authorisation as non-licensed personnel should check these requirements with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Job roles may include: Aerial SurveillanceAir Crew Officer (ACO)Drop MasterPolice, paramedics and other emergency service personnel including rappellers or winch trained air crewRescue Crew Officer (RCO)Visual Observer.
