About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who assist with the delivery of sport and recreation activities and who complete a range of fundamental customer contact and maintenance duties. They work under direct supervision to complete mainly routine tasks. This qualification provides a pathway to work for any type of sport, aquatic or recreation organisation including commercial, not-for-profit, community and government organisations. The skills in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice. No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
