Plumber in Western Australia
Plumbing tradesperson's licence
- Issued by
- Plumbers Licensing Board
- When you need it
- Any plumbing work other than minor homeowner tasks. Contracting and supervising need a contractor's licence.
- What you need
- CPC32420 Cert III plus a WA trade certificate or completed apprenticeship document, and a National Police Certificate. Without an apprenticeship, the trade certificate needs RPL by an RTO approved by the WA Department of Training (Trade Skills Recognition).
Check the details above before you start: a qualification gained through RPL may not be enough on its own for this licence. We’ll help you confirm with the regulator.
