Initial Consultation
Tell us about your trade background, total years of experience, any completed certificates, and the licence you want to apply for in Australian Capital Territory.
Tell us about your trade, how long you have been in that industry, any current qualifications you have, and confirm that you operate in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
We begin with a free skills assessment to determine your eligibility under the ACT licence standards. Throughout the process, we:
- Confirm the appropriate ACT licence class applicable to your trade.
- Identify the specific qualification, units of competency, or certificate necessary.
- Review your industry experience to assess suitability for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
This initial consultation establishes the appropriate process under ACT rules and outlines the following practical steps to ensure trade qualification and licensing compliance in the Australian Capital Territory.

- We refer you to our partner trade licensing advisor, Trade Licence Solutions, to prepare your trade licence application for submission to the licensing authority.
- If you do not prefer to use our partners for your trade licence application, you can apply for it directly with the trade licence authority in your state.
If you don’t have the required licence certificate
