About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of experienced senior building designers who apply substantial specialised knowledge and skills to the management and leadership roles in an organisation or business area. Practitioners are typically responsible for managing a building design practice and undertaking building design projects covered by the National Construction Code (NCC) including the design of both Type A and Type B constructions.

Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

Entry points which demonstrate a candidate’s potential to undertake the CPP80221 Graduate Diploma of Building Design are relevant vocational experience in building design and related project and business experience in addition to: CPP60421 Advanced Diploma of Building Design, or22477VIC Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural), orHigher education qualification relevant to building design AND demonstrated skills and knowledge commensurate with the scope of work covered in the core units of CPP60421 Advanced Diploma of Building Design, orDemonstrated relevant vocational experience, skills and knowledge commensurate with the scope of work covered in the core units of CPP60421 Advanced Diploma of Building Design.
