About This Qualification
This qualification covers competencies to develop, select, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions of electronic components/sub-assemblies, apparatus and systems. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently mapping the evidence requirements for UEE50520 and establishing partnerships with suitable Registered Training Organisations. We anticipate opening the pathway once these quality standards are met.

Is RPL the same as completing the study?

What if I don't have all the technical diagrams for my past projects?
While technical documentation is valuable, your consultant can guide you on alternative forms of evidence, such as workplace observations, detailed references, or video demonstrations of your technical competency.
Does this qualification cover both electronics and communications?
Yes, it is designed to cover a broad spectrum of electrotechnology competencies, from sub-assembly redesign to the commissioning of large-scale communications systems.
