About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the role of Ayurvedic lifestyle consultants who provide advice, selected remedies and therapies according to Ayurvedic principles. People working at this level may be self-employed independent practitioners or work in a larger health service.To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed 200 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

As part of your evidence portfolio, you can provide logbooks, supervisor statements, or statutory declarations that document your clinical hours and professional practice within an Ayurvedic context.
What if I am self-employed?
Self-employed practitioners are well-positioned for RPL. You can provide business registration documents, client testimonials, marketing materials, and anonymised client files as evidence of your professional practice.
