About This Qualification

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to complete power generation work functions in the electrical supply industry. Functions include installation, fabrication, repair and maintenance of industrial pressure vessels and associated pipework, coded welding, welding supervision, general fabrication and the observation of safe working practices. It also includes the supervision of others and the coordination of work activities. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
