It includes competencies required by regulations for an electrical contracting licence; and requirements and competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain photovoltaic systems and associated equipment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Recognition of Prior Learning assesses skills you already have against a nationally recognised qualification. Demonstrate competency, and you receive the same nationally recognised qualification, issued by a registered training organisation (RTO), as someone who completed the full course.
