About This Qualification
This qualification provides competencies to set up and manage an electrical contracting business. It includes competencies required by regulations for an electrical contracting licence; and requirements and competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain photovoltaic systems and associated equipment.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) who specialise in this qualification. By registering your interest, you will be the first to know when the RPL pathway is open for assessment.

What are the entry requirements for this qualification?
To be eligible for this qualification via any pathway, you must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or a current 'Unrestricted Electricians Licence' issued in an Australian state or territory.
