About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a wide variety of dance performance contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from different sources in relation to dance practices. Entry Requirements

Individuals must complete an audition or provide another form of evidence which demonstrates their competence in at least one dance style equivalent to Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 3 or above.

Not at this moment. We are currently in the research and partnership phase, identifying Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that meet our standards for professional dance recognition.

Is RPL the same as completing a dance course?
The resulting qualification is identical, but the process is different. RPL assesses the skills you have already developed through professional practice, whereas a course focuses on teaching you those skills from the beginning.
Will I still need to perform an audition?
Entry requirements for this qualification typically involve an audition or evidence of technical competency at an AQF Level 3 or higher. We will guide you on how your professional history can satisfy these requirements.
