Is this qualification currently available through RPL It?
The Certificate II in Dance (CUA20120) is not currently available for active enrolment. We are currently identifying Registered Training Organisation (RTO) partners who meet our standards for quality and rigour in the creative arts sector.
Why should I register my interest?
Registering your interest ensures you are the first to know when we secure a partner RTO. It also helps us demonstrate to our partners that there is a demand for recognition pathways in the dance industry.
Is an RPL qualification the same as one from full-time study?
Yes. A qualification achieved through Recognition of Prior Learning is identical to one earned through traditional study. It is assessed against the same national standards and carries the same weight with employers and performance companies.
Does this cover specific styles like Ballet or Jazz?
Yes. The evidence you provide can reflect a variety of technical backgrounds including ballet, jazz, contemporary, street, or cultural dance, provided it demonstrates the basic technical skills required by the qualification.
How do I prove my physical fitness for dance?
Evidence of physical fitness can be demonstrated through logs of your training routines, video evidence of your technical execution, and statements from instructors or choreographers who have observed your performance capacity.
