About This Qualification
This qualification allows for the attainment of competencies in air dispatch in Defence or a similar environment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to offer this specific qualification. At this stage, we are accepting expressions of interest from experienced candidates.

Is RPL the same as completing a training course?
No. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment-only pathway. It is designed for those who already possess the skills and knowledge required by the qualification, allowing them to provide evidence of their expertise rather than repeating training.
What type of experience is most relevant for this qualification?
Experience in rigging platform air-drop loads, establishing cargo drop zones, and working safely around rotary and fixed-wing aircraft is highly relevant. This typically includes experience gained within Defence or specialized logistics sectors.
Will I need to provide classified information as evidence?
