About This Qualification
This qualification allows for the attainment of occupational specific competencies for those senior personel responsible for the integration of procurement into organisational policy and direction, and for the evaluation and improvement of procurement functions at an organisational level. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

Is RPL the same as completing a training course?
Recognition of Prior Learning is an assessment-only pathway. It is not a course of study; rather, it is a process where a qualified assessor evaluates your existing senior-level experience against national competency standards.
What level of experience is required for a Graduate Certificate?
As an AQF level 8 qualification, the assessor will look for evidence of strategic leadership, policy integration, and high-level evaluation rather than just operational purchasing or transactional tasks.
Does this qualification apply only to the public sector?
While the qualification is from the Public Sector Training Package, the strategic procurement competencies are highly transferable to large corporate environments and non-government organisations.
