About This Qualification
This qualification has been designed to provide a package of broad and flexible competencies reflecting the workplace responsibilities of a simulator maintenance manager and a senior simulator technician. These technicians can manage simulator maintenance as well as complete complex testing, fault finding and evaluation of simulation equipment. It qualifies individuals who apply maintenance management and integrated technical and theoretical concepts in a broad range of contexts to undertake advanced skilled or paraprofessional work in simulator maintenance. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
