What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

We are currently in the process of establishing partnerships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that specialise in health management. While not immediately available for enrolment, registering your interest ensures you are notified as soon as the pathway is open.

Registering interest allows us to gauge demand and expedite the onboarding of specific RTO partners. It also ensures you receive early access to our free skills review once the assessment process is finalised.
Is an RPL qualification viewed differently by employers?
No. A qualification achieved through Recognition of Prior Learning is the same nationally recognised parchment as one achieved through study. It confirms you have met the exact same competency standards required by the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Will I need to prove my knowledge of medical terminology?
Yes. As this is a health-specific management qualification, the assessment process will require evidence that you can interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately within a practice environment.
How do I demonstrate competence in health billing systems?
Evidence may include records of managing Medicare, private health insurance, or NDIS billing workflows, alongside documentation showing your oversight of the practice's accounting software and financial integrity.
