About This Qualification
This qualification allows for the attainment of skills and capabilities in policing. It covers skills that allow police personnel to employ specialised knowledge and skilled practice in general duties within a police environment. These skills include demonstrating professional practice in a policing context, operational policing skills, delivery of policing services and undertaking investigations. Policing qualifications have been developed to set agreed standards for police personnel that should be contextualised within the specifics of each police jurisdiction/agency/organisation’s policies and procedures. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
