About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work in the aquaculture sector of the seafood industry at a management or leadership level. In this role, these individuals design, plan and implement programs and sustainable practices for an aquaculture enterprise that comply with a wide range of legislative and regulatory requirements. We are currently in the process of vetting Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that meet our standards for the Seafood Industry training package. By registering your interest, you will be the first to know when this pathway is active.
Why should I register my interest?
Registering allows us to gauge industry demand and prioritise which RTO partnerships we establish. It also ensures you receive a preliminary review of your experience so you are ready to begin as soon as the qualification is available.
Is RPL the same as studying the Diploma?
The qualification issued is identical. The difference lies in the evidence: study requires you to learn new content, while RPL requires you to demonstrate that you already possess the competency through your professional history.
What if my experience is in a specialist consultancy role?
