About This Qualification
This qualification applies to members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and to employees of civil Aviation Maintenance Organisations (AMOs) who work on the maintenance of aircraft and personal life support equipment and on the fabrication and maintenance of aircraft furnishings. The qualification typically applies to those who work independently or as part of a team under direct and/or indirect supervision, following set procedures and methods, requiring some discretion and judgement.
Important: RPL It Australia is a student support service. All assessment and qualification issuance is conducted by the delivering Registered Training Organisation. RPL It does not deliver training, conduct assessments, or issue qualifications.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.
