About This Qualification

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals across different aspects of the greyhound industry. This includes, but is not limited to, trainers, breeders and any full time workers or workers who want a career in the industry. These individuals apply a broad range of competencies related to the health and welfare of greyhounds, racing ethics and integrity as well as competencies that are more technical. They are required to use discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements may apply to this qualification. Refer to your state or territory Controlling Body or Principal Racing Authority for current licence or registration requirements.
