About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the role of skilled florists who use a range of well-developed floristry skills to design, construct and sell a diverse range of floristry products. These individuals have sound knowledge of construction techniques and floristry design elements and principles. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision. They may provide technical advice and support to team members. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a florist in a diversity of floristry industry business types including retail floristry shops, studios and online floristry businesses. No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
