About This Qualification
This qualification covers competencies to select, assemble, connect and set up TV and radio reception antennae and multiple antenna outlets in buildings and premises. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

What Is Recognition of Prior Learning?
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that evaluates skills, knowledge, and experience you have gained through your career against the requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.
You gather relevant workplace evidence and a qualified assessor from the delivering Registered Training Organisation evaluates that evidence. If the assessor determines every competency requirement is met, the RTO issues the qualification.

Is an RPL qualification the same as one from full-time study?
Yes. A qualification earned through Recognition of Prior Learning is nationally recognised and held to the same assessment standards as one earned through a traditional classroom pathway.
Will I need to demonstrate signal testing skills?
Yes, the assessment process will require evidence that you can accurately use signal meters to test and confirm reception quality across multiple outlets.
How does my experience with roof work count?
Your ability to safely navigate roofs and secure equipment at heights is a core competency. Evidence of your safety procedures and height certifications will be highly relevant for your portfolio.
