About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work in operational roles undertaking trade measurement inspection. It is suitable for individuals who need to apply a broad range of specialised knowledge and skills in specific contexts relating to the administration of trade measurement legislation. This qualification covers the broad range skills required to operate without supervision in a government trade measurement environment. The skills in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice. No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. Trade measurement inspectors must be appointed as defined by legislation.
