About This Qualification
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in the entertainment industry who apply theory and creative skills in a range of situations and display initiative and judgement in planning activities. Individuals must demonstrate technical production skills in at least one technical area that supports learning at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 6 or above.In particular, they must be able to provide evidence of their ability to:develop solutions in at least one technical areaproduce a body of work demonstrating technical skills in at least one technical arearespond effectively to workplace challenges and requirements in line with current industry standardsapply knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one technical area.Skills and knowledge may have been acquired through experience or formal study.
